Behind every name there is a moving story. Please give some of your time and help us digitize historical documents. Together we are building a digital monument to the victims of Nazi persecution. Hundreds of thousands of volunteers throughout the world are already involved.

We return personal objects to the families of people who were imprisoned in a concentration camp. Join the search! Our #StolenMemory exhibition is touring Europe in several shipping containers to raise awareness of the importance of searching for the families of victims of Nazi persecution.

Appeals for information

Every year, we receive approximately 20,000 tracing inquiries – despite extensive research, we cannot shed light on every path of persecution. Help us search! It is immensely important for the families to find out what happened to their loved ones – and perhaps even find relatives they never knew they had.
