Project Office opened in Göttingen
Starting in September, eight student assistants on the Georg-August-University campus Göttingen will be helping us answer the increasing number of inquiries. They have received training for this work in Bad Arolsen. The cooperation will also contribute to improving the university network.
“The Project Office is a good thing and offers a lot of advantages, not just in the short term,” says Achim Link of the International Tracing Service (ITS), who organized the cooperation. “The students will get acquainted with the archive and learn how to work with the sources. We can imagine that this expansion of our team with budding historians will bring about ideas for scholarly research. Maybe it will even open doors to new projects or new staff. We’re very excited about the possibilities!”
