#StolenMemory in Białystok

Our #StolenMemory exhibition, which we recently showed together with the Institute of National Remembrance in Bydgoszcz and Warsaw, is going to be displayed in Bialystok from November 4. The exhibition presents the fates of 16 persecuted people from various regions of Poland whose personal belongings were stolen by the SS.

Some of these items are still stored in the Arolsen Archives. As part of the #StolenMemory campaign, we are looking for the victims’ relatives in order to return the belongings to them.

During the official opening of the exhibition (4.11, 10 AM the families are going to be given personal items belonging to Zofia Bieniewska, Henryk Kowalczyk and Piotr Błaszczyk.

November 4-14: Opera i Filharmonia „Podlaska” ul. Odeska 1
November 15-30: Muzeum Podlaskie in Białystok, ul. Rynek Kościuszki 10.
